As far as your Paris album, the photos are excellent (as if I'd expect anything else from you, or at least that you would show in public). I like you layout a lot - particularly the mix of panoramic and other formats. Are you able to customize albums in Google+, or is there a set of layouts to choose from (of which this is one)? Many of my memories from childhood involve taking photos. I can't really remember a time when I didn't have a camera!
